Fishing & Outdoor Festival July 10-11, 2009
Adults fish all night & Kids fish all day
Adult fishing tournament begins Friday 7 pm and ends on Saturday 7 am (age 15 & up) | Kids fishing tournament is all day Saturday (ages 1-14)
Win prizes and $1000 at the Helicopter Bobber Drop

Miss Volcano Days Pageant - Register Now! September 12, 2009 at the Mountwood Park Visitor Center. Winner will compete for the title of Miss West Virginia Association of Fairs and Festivals.

Registration forms must be postmarked to Mountwood Park by:  August 31, 2009.

June Events:

Saturday June, 13-Veteran’s Celebration at the Mountwood Park Campground Shelter- All are welcome to celebrate our veteran’s service to the country at a potluck dinner. Social hour begins at 3pm

June 19, 20, & 21- Wood County Horse Club Camp Rides- Members and non-members are welcome to join the horse club at 10 am for an afternoon ride. For more information visit wchrc.com or contact Tara Patterson: 304-210-4894 

June 20- Gospel Sing-All musicians are invited to participate in an open gospel sing. Free hot dogs are served  throughout the day. Sign-ups begin at 12:30.
