Picnicking

Bring your family and come out for a picnic at Mountwood. You can rent a shelter or if spontaneous, you may be able to find an empty table to enjoy your last-minute picnic adventure. There are charcoal grills and picnic tables located throughout the park. Plenty of space for the children to run and play at the playgrounds; hiking and biking trails are also located near the shelters.

We recommend making a reservation to ensure availability of a picnic shelter for your activity. To rent a shelter for your family or organization call the park at 304-679-3611.
