Birthdays, Weddings, Reunions, Employee Picnics Camping, Scout Outings….Host an event or private party at Mountwood Park. Facilities are available to rent and you are welcome to use them if they haven’t already been reserved.
Conference Room
Mountwood offers a large conference in the basement of the Styles Administration Building. Facilities include; two meeting rooms with tables and chairs, a full kitchen equipped with all appliances and cooking utensils, a large fire place and clean restroom facilities. Reserve the conference room for business meetings, winter birthday parties or family reunions. This is also a perfect spot for a bride to prepare for her wedding at Carson Station or a convenient location for the wedding reception afterwards. $100/day
Carson Station
Mountwood’s largest shelter, seats approximately 150 people and is located between the Marina parking lot and the Styles Administration Building, This shelter offers a small charcoal grill as well as a 15 foot, open wood/charcoal fired pit perfect for barbecuing for that family reunion or picnic. Carson Station is a perfered spot for outdoor wedding, reception or birthday party with electric and running water provided. Located in the center of the park, Carson Station is close to hiking trails, playgrounds, the Visitor Center the marina and boat docks, making it the perfect location for your family outing. Spots for Carson Station fill up fast in the summer, so make reservations early and up to one year in advance. $100/day
Large Shelter
Mountwood has three large shelters in the park, creating a great place to host any outdoor event from a birthday party or family reunion to a outdoor wedding. Shelter 1 is located in an open field setting with a horseshoe pit and a large playground facility nearby. Shelters 2 and 3 can be found in a more wooded area of the park, near a small mountain stream, perfect for the kids to cool down in on those hot summer days. All of the large shelters have charcoal grill, electric, water, are near restroom facilities and can accommodate approximately 100 people. $75/day
Small Shelter
Mountwood has 2 small shelters in the park, creating a great place to host any outdoor event from a family picnic or small birthday party. Shelter 1 is located in an open area near the fishing pier. Shelters 2 can be found near the administration office, near a small mountain stream, perfect for the kids to cool down in on those hot summer days. All of the small shelters have charcoal grill and are near restroom facilities and can accommodate approximately 12-14 people. These small shelters are on a first come first serve basis.
